Content rules and notice procedure

Extract from the General Terms and Conditions of Monet Tech UG (haftungsbeschränkt), version 1.0, as of 14 October 2026. English translation for information; the German version is authoritative.

This page sets out verbatim the provisions of our GTC on content, suspensions and prohibited goods. Customers receive the full GTC with the order form. To report unlawful content, email [email protected] with your reasons, the exact address (URL), your name and email address and a statement that your notice is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. We confirm receipt and inform you of our decision; a person, not an automated process, decides on notices.

§ 3 Monet's Services

(8) Protective measures. In the event of an attack or a specific, significant threat, Monet may limit requests, block sources, accesses, keys or scripts and restrict functions to the extent and for as long as necessary. Monet informs the Brand without undue delay, stating reasons, to the extent this does not jeopardise the defence, reviews the measure regularly and lifts it as soon as its reason ceases to apply. The Platform continues to transfer paid orders to the Shop to the extent this is possible without the threat persisting. § 8 para. 5 remains unaffected.

§ 4 Obligations of the Brand

(1) Content. The Brand is solely responsible for the content of its Checkouts, in particular product information, prices, discounts, timers, guarantee and efficacy claims, reviews, images, the label of the order button and its own scripts. Such content must be accurate, respect third-party rights and comply with the law of the target markets. Monet does not review content in advance.

(3) Unlawful content. Monet forwards a substantiated notice of unlawful content to the Brand without undue delay. Monet may provisionally make the content or, if not otherwise possible, the Checkout inaccessible to the extent that severity and urgency so require, and gives the Brand the opportunity to comment. If the content was lawful, § 8 para. 5 applies. Monet receives notices from third parties electronically via the Mailbox, acknowledges receipt without undue delay and informs the notifier of the decision. Monet does not review content by automated means; a person decides on notices and measures. If Monet restricts a Checkout, suspends the Platform or terminates because of content (including under § 3 para. 8, paragraphs 7 and 8 and § 14 para. 4), Monet informs the Brand in text form of the type, scope and duration of the measure, the facts, whether a notice was the basis, the legal or contractual basis and its right to comment and to legal recourse. Monet publishes the rules on content and suspensions (§ 3 para. 8, § 4 paras. 1, 3, 7 and 8, Annex 3) and the instructions for notices verbatim at getmonet.ai/agb; the Brand receives the other provisions and Annexes with the Order Form.

(7) Prohibited use. The Brand uses the Platform only for its own sales or for companies that Monet has approved in text form; the approval specifies for each company whether a separate base fee is incurred and which role under Annex 1 it has. It must not (a) breach Annex 3, (b) deceive about prices, terms, seller or buttons, (c) circumvent security mechanisms or attack the Platform, (d) split payments across several Brand Profiles or accounts in order to circumvent requirements of the Payment Service Providers, or trigger recurring charges without the Buyer's clear consent. In the event of a breach, Monet may take the affected Checkouts offline immediately to the extent necessary to avert damage or infringements of law; the Platform continues to transfer paid orders to the Shop. Monet informs the Brand in text form, stating the reason. The right to terminate for good cause (§ 14 para. 4) remains unaffected. The Brand informs Monet of changes to its business model or product range without undue delay and answers substantiated enquiries about them within five business days.

(8) Provisional suspension. Monet may provisionally suspend affected Checkouts or Brand Profiles if (a) there are fact-based indications of a breach under paragraph 7 or of fraudulent payments and the Brand does not answer a substantiated enquiry from Monet within five business days or does not dispel the suspicion, (b) a Payment Service Provider, a card scheme or a public authority demands the discontinuation, or (c) the Brand has not implemented a security-relevant change under paragraph 4 despite expiry of the period. Monet limits the suspension to what is necessary, states reasons in accordance with paragraph 3, lifts it as soon as its reason ceases to apply, and continues to transfer paid orders to the Shop.

13. trigger payments without a genuine good or service, in particular test stolen card data (card testing);
14. sell on behalf of undisclosed third parties;
15. circumvent monitoring programmes of the card schemes for chargebacks or fraud;
