Short version: joining the waitlist is free and commits you to nothing. MONET is for businesses only. Before your store goes live on MONET, we sign a separate written agreement with you that sets price, guarantee and data processing.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the website getmonet.ai and to joining the MONET waitlist. The provider is Monet Tech UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Pappelallee 78/79, 10437 Berlin, Germany (“MONET”, “we”). Differing terms of our customers do not apply unless we agree to them in writing.

2. Businesses only

MONET is offered exclusively to entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB, i.e. companies and self-employed people acting in their commercial or professional capacity. It is not offered to consumers. By joining the waitlist you confirm that you act on behalf of a business.

3. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free of charge. The checkout-style form, prices of €0.00, discount codes and offers shown in it demonstrate how MONET works; they are not a purchase and create no payment obligation. A place on the waitlist gives no right to be onboarded. We choose stores at our discretion, for example by shop system, traffic and fit, and we contact selected stores directly.

4. Using MONET

Before a store goes live on MONET, we conclude a separate written agreement with the merchant. It sets out the scope of the service, fees, the A/B test and any guarantee, service levels and term. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR (see DPA) is part of it. If that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement prevails.

5. The €10,000 guarantee

The guarantee described on this website applies only under the conditions agreed in writing in the agreement under section 4 before the test starts, including test duration, traffic split and how revenue per visitor is measured. Nothing on this website alone creates a claim to a payment.

6. Content of this website

Descriptions, examples and figures on this website explain how MONET works. They are not a promise of a specific result for your store. Brand names and logos of third parties belong to their owners. Texts, designs, images, videos and code of this website are protected by copyright; you may not copy or reuse them beyond normal browsing without our consent.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential obligation (one whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible and on which you may regularly rely), limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this type of contract. Otherwise our liability is excluded. Since using the website and the waitlist is free of charge, we are in any case only liable for intent and gross negligence there, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Changes

We may change these terms with effect for the future. The version published on this page when you join the waitlist applies.

9. Law and place of jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin. Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
